Day 1: Chiang Mai – Pai (L)

Start your adventure with a pickup in Chiang Mai from your hotel. Begin your scenic drive north toward Pai, making your first stop at Mae Malai Market to sample exotic local fruits and street food.

Continue to Pong Duet Hot Springs, a hidden gem nestled in a forested valley. This serene natural spa features geysers, rock pools, and warm waters perfect for a soothing swim.

On the way to Pai, visit the historic Pai Memorial Bridge, which dates back to World War II and spans the picturesque Pai River.

Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before arriving in Pai—a charming small town embraced by rolling hills and vibrant cultural diversity. Home to various ethnic groups, Pai offers a unique blend of traditions, languages, and beliefs.

Weather permitting, wrap up your day with a visit to Pai Canyon (Kong Lan), a breathtaking viewpoint ideal for catching the famous Pai sunset.

Day 2: Pai – Mae Hong Son (B, L)

After breakfast, explore the morning market in Pai before departing for Mae Hong Son. En route, stop at Ban Jabo, a Black Lahu village known for its traditional wooden instruments and colorful attire.

Next, explore Tham Lod Caves by bamboo raft. Discover spectacular stalactites, ancient teakwood coffins, and the unique underground river system that carved this natural wonder over a million years. The site features three distinct caves—Sao Hin, Tukta, and IP Man.

Lunch will be served along the way.

Arrive in Mae Hong Son and explore the peaceful lake of Jong Kham, surrounded by temples and local life. Visit:

  • Wat Chong Kham: The city's oldest temple, founded in 1827 with a seated Burmese-style Buddha.

  • Wat Chong Klang: Known for its intricate chedi and wooden carvings.

Day 3: Mae Hong Son Exploration (B, L)

Stop to visit a Long-Necked Karen Village, where women wear distinctive brass rings around their necks, preserving centuries-old traditions.

After lunch at a local restaurant, continue to:

  • Su Tong Pae Bridge: Thailand’s longest bamboo bridge, stretching across rice fields and riverbanks.

  • Baan Rak Thai Village: A unique village near the Thai–Myanmar border with Chinese Yunnanese heritage and a peaceful lakeside setting.

  • Baan Ruam Thai (Pang Oung): Known as “Switzerland in Thailand,” this mountain village boasts pine forests, cool weather year-round, and a large reservoir framed by vibrant flowers.

Day 4: Mae Hong Son – Doi Inthanon – Chiang Mai (B, L)

After breakfast, head south to Mae Chaem, and visit Doi Inthanon National Park, home to Thailand’s highest peak at 2,565 meters. Take a nature walk through misty trails and lush forests.

Visit the striking Royal Pagodas—Napamaytanidol and Phra Mahatat Napaphon Bhumisiri—built to honor the birthdays of King Bhumibol and Queen Sirikit. Wander through the surrounding flower gardens in full bloom.

Stop by a hill tribe market, where locals sell fresh produce and handmade crafts.

End the journey at Vachiratharn Waterfall, a majestic cascade that flows year-round through dense forest.

Return to Chiang Mai and transfer to your hotel or airport.
