There is no single answer for the region, because Vietnam alone spans three climates that peak in different months. Tell us when you can travel and we will tell you honestly which parts of the route work in that window and which are better swapped out — that is a more useful conversation than a best-months chart.

No. This site takes inquiries only — there is no checkout and no card form anywhere on it, by design. Everything is confirmed in writing with a person, which is also why nothing you send here is ever a commitment to travel.

Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand and Laos are the four we run ourselves, with our own guides and drivers. Myanmar, Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia are planned on request. Multi-country routes are built by hand rather than assembled from fixed packages, so tell us the countries and the dates and we will work out whether the border crossings make sense in the time you have.

Anything from one traveller to twelve on a standard private trip, which covers solo travel, couples, families and most groups of friends. Larger parties are still possible but are quoted separately, since the vehicles and guiding change shape above that.

Yes to both. Guiding is done by our own team of more than twenty local experts and guides, all working in English, and they live in the regions they guide. Other languages can usually be arranged with enough notice — ask when you inquire rather than after the trip is confirmed.

Because the number would be wrong. The same route costs differently in March than in August, and shifts again with the hotels you pick, the size of your group and whether you want a private guide throughout. A quote written after we know those four things is a price you can hold us to. An instant one is a guess with a disclaimer.

The same numbers appear on every quote we issue, and we will email you the licence scan if you ask for it.

You keep the same trip designer through the trip itself, not just the planning. The office line runs on Hanoi time and WhatsApp is answered from 8am to 8pm ICT, so a delayed flight or a hotel that is not as promised is a message away rather than a ticket in a queue.

The payment terms — what is due, when, and by which method — are set out in the written quote for your specific trip, and nothing is payable until you have accepted that quote. Ask your trip designer for the terms at any point in the conversation and you will get them in writing before you decide anything.

They are per person, in US dollars, at the lowest season and occupancy that tour runs at — a starting point for a private quote rather than a fixed fare. Your written quote lists what is included line by line, so you can see where the difference from the headline number comes from.

Within 24 hours of your inquiry, on every working day of the year. It comes back as a day-by-day route with hotels, transfers and guides named — not a brochure and not a price range.

As many as it takes, at no charge. Swapping a hotel, adding a free afternoon, dropping an internal flight or reordering two cities are all normal parts of the conversation, and none of them carries a revision fee. One trip designer handles your trip from the first reply, so you are never re-explaining it to someone new.

Vietnam, for almost everyone. It carries the widest range of landscape and city in one country — the northern hills, a limestone bay, two very different capitals and the Mekong — so a first trip can stay in one place and still feel varied. Cambodia and Laos read better as a second country added to that route than as a first visit on their own.

Yes. Every tour on this site can be shortened, extended, run privately or rebuilt around a different pace — the published version is one way of doing it, not the only one. If nothing on the listing is close to what you want, skip it and describe the trip instead; that is the same process, started one step earlier.

It depends entirely on your nationality and how long you are staying, and the rules genuinely change. We will tell you what your passport needs for each country on your route and what the current process is, but the application itself stays yours to file — we do not hold your passport or submit on your behalf.
