Day 1: Chiang Mai – Trek to Lahu Village (L, D)

Your adventure begins at 08:30 AM with a hotel pick-up in Chiang Mai. A one-hour drive takes you to a local market where we’ll spend 25 minutes gathering supplies. We then continue for 30 minutes along a scenic mountain road to a picturesque waterfall—perfect for a refreshing swim and photos.

Lunch will be served at a quaint roadside restaurant where you’ll enjoy your first authentic Thai meal. Afterwards, we drive a short distance to the trek starting point. The trekking journey through dense jungle begins here, leading us on a 2–3 hour hike to a Karen hill tribe village located at an elevation of 1,400 meters.

Spend the night in a rustic wooden hut on the village’s edge. Refresh with a simple shower before enjoying a freshly prepared dinner. Take in the tranquil surroundings, explore the village, and admire the view of Doi Chiang Dao—Thailand’s third-highest peak at 2,175 meters. Wind down on your hut’s deck with a soft drink or beer, immersed in the jungle's nighttime melodies.

Day 2: Jungle Trekking – Elephant Encounter – Mountain Village (B, L, D)

After breakfast, we set off on a scenic 3-hour trek past rice paddies and lush jungle paths to reach a Lahu village where a small elephant family resides. Here, you can unwind, eat lunch, and enjoy one of the trip’s highlights—spending time with the elephants.

You’ll have the opportunity to feed them, bathe them in the river, and maybe even join them for a dip—an unforgettable and intimate wildlife experience.

Later, we trek further to a serene mountain village. Take a dip in the nearby shallow river or relax on a deck overlooking the stream. As evening falls, we prepare a delicious Thai dinner and gather around the campfire. You might want to fly a wish lantern or join in singing songs under the starlit sky, creating lasting memories of your jungle journey.

Day 3: Bamboo Rafting – Shan Village – Return to Chiang Mai (B, L)

After breakfast, get ready for an exhilarating bamboo rafting trip along the Mae Tang River. Drift downstream for 2–3 hours toward a Shan village. The rafts carry 6–8 people with a central rack for your belongings to stay dry during the ride.

Upon arrival, enjoy a final Thai lunch in the village and take a leisurely stroll across a long wooden hanging bridge. Take in the atmosphere and bid farewell to the lush rainforest.

From here, we journey back to Chiang Mai by truck, arriving at approximately 5:00 PM—bringing your three-day adventure to a fulfilling close.
