Your journey begins with a morning of leisure at your hotel. At 10:00 AM, you will be picked up and taken to the starting point of your adventure. The day begins with a peaceful 50-minute boat ride along the Kok River aboard a traditional longtail boat. Upon reaching Karen village and an adjacent elephant camp, you’ll have the opportunity to explore the village or enjoy a 30-minute elephant ride.
After a traditional lunch in the village, the trek commences. You will hike through picturesque landscapes, including rice fields, mountain plantations, bamboo forests, and an amazing viewpoint that offers panoramic views of the surrounding areas. Continuing through the mountains, you’ll reach Yafu village, home to the Lahu Hill Tribe. Here, you’ll be welcomed into a traditional bamboo house, where you’ll spend the night, experiencing authentic tribal life. Dinner will be prepared locally, offering a taste of Lahu cuisine.
Start your day with a hearty breakfast at 8:30 AM before continuing your trekking adventure. Today’s hike will take you through mountain rice fields and lush plantations. A stop at a scenic viewpoint allows you to capture breathtaking photographs before breaking for a bamboo-cooked lunch.
The final stretch of your trek takes you through the forest, leading back to Karen village. Afterward, a relaxing visit to the nearby hot springs awaits, offering the perfect way to unwind and soothe your muscles after the trek. Once refreshed, you’ll be dropped back at your hotel, completing your unforgettable Chiang Rai adventure.
