Day 1: Chiang Mai – Jungle Trek to Lahu Village (L, D)

At 08:30 AM, we’ll pick you up from your hotel in Chiang Mai and begin our journey with a 40-minute drive to a local market. Here, we’ll spend around 20 minutes gathering fresh provisions for the tour. Next, we’ll drive another 30 minutes along scenic mountain roads to reach Mork Fa Waterfall, where you can swim and enjoy the serene natural setting.

After a short drive, we’ll stop for a freshly prepared Thai lunch at a small roadside restaurant. Once refueled, we continue with a 45–60-minute drive to the trek starting point. Your jungle adventure begins here as we head into the dense forest. Your guide will lead you through lush landscapes and unique flora and fauna, offering either a gentler or more challenging route depending on your preference.

After approximately 2.5 hours of trekking, we’ll arrive at a Lahu hill tribe village, situated at around 1,200 meters above sea level. Here, you’ll stay in a rustic wooden hut at the village edge. After settling in and refreshing with a shower, enjoy a delicious dinner prepared by your guide. Before night falls, take the opportunity to explore the village and admire views of Doi Chiang Dao, Thailand’s third-highest mountain. Relax on the deck by a creek, listen to jungle sounds, and unwind with a drink under the stars.

Day 2: Lahu Village – Bamboo Rafting – Elephant Encounter – Return to Chiang Mai (B, L)

After breakfast, spend the morning exploring the tranquil Lahu village and observing the daily life of its people. We’ll then prepare for the bamboo rafting portion of your tour. Each handmade raft accommodates 6–8 people and their luggage, securely stored on a raised rack to keep it dry.

Glide down the Mae Taeng River for about 2 hours, surrounded by lush greenery and serene jungle views. If you wish, you can try steering the raft for an added thrill. We’ll eventually arrive at a Shan village, where you can enjoy a tasty lunch and wander around the village or cross a long wooden hanging bridge for a final moment of forest immersion.

Next, we’ll drive just 10 minutes to a local elephant camp, where you’ll have the chance to meet and interact with these gentle giants—feed them, walk alongside them, and make lasting memories. Afterward, we’ll depart the jungle and begin the 1.5-hour drive back to Chiang Mai. Estimated arrival time is around 5:00 PM.
