Start your journey with an 8:00 AM pickup from your hotel in Hanoi. Enjoy a scenic 7-hour drive through the countryside, stopping to admire traditional villages along the way. At noon, we’ll have lunch at a local restaurant in Tu Le, renowned for its delicious dishes.
After lunch, ascend the Khau Pha Pass, the highest point in Mu Cang Chai, offering breathtaking views of the valley below. Visit Lim Mong village, home to the Thai and Hmong people, before checking into your hotel. In the evening, take a leisurely walk through the peaceful town and enjoy dinner at a local restaurant.
After breakfast, we’ll set off for an exhilarating day of trekking. Starting from the Hmong village of Hang Co Vua, we’ll follow a scenic trail through rice terraces and pine forests. Marvel at the vibrant orchid flowers and listen for the calls of local wildlife.
After about 2 hours of trekking, we’ll arrive at Hua Khat village, home to the Green Hmong. Here, gain insight into the daily lives and rich culture of the villagers. Enjoy a traditional lunch before continuing your trek, where you can capture stunning views of terraced fields carved into the mountainside.
Conclude your day with dinner at a local restaurant, reflecting on the beautiful landscapes and interactions with the Hmong people. Overnight at your hotel in Mu Cang Chai.
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before checking out. As we drive back to Hanoi, we’ll stop at various villages for more photo opportunities and to experience local culture. Have lunch along the way, savoring the flavors of northern Vietnam.
Arrive back in Hanoi in the late afternoon, concluding your unforgettable Mu Cang Chai adventure.
